of The Military Coalition and the [National Military and Veterans] Alliance pretty regularly this year. They help us understand needs of patients in ways different and com- plementary to what we do in our surveys, letters, outreach, and town hall meetings. They may have a dif- ferent perspective on what satisfiers to look at. We want that kind of in- formation. They help communicate new programs and teach patients how to use the benefit in different venues. And they help us to achieve some of our goals. For example, after a recent article
appeared on home-care delivery, MOAA put up a survey to ask ben- eficiaries who use home delivery pharmacy what’s good about it and what isn’t. And if they haven’t used it, what’s the biggest obstacle? Quick feedback on that kind of question is very useful. Other or- ganizations we work with actually have sponsored research on family member needs. That’s helpful. We do it, too. The data help us under- stand our beneficiaries and those who love and support them.
