Make more money cleaning windows

WHEN YOU’RE CLEANING WINDOWS, MAKE THE CHOICE THAT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY.

When water-fed poles burst upon the commercial window cleaning world following the enactment of the Working at Height Regulations in 2005, water-fed pole technology was not very far advanced. In the early days, users of water-fed poles, which of necessity must use pure water without suspended impurities that would leave marks on cleaned windows, users had no option but to invest a lot of cash in complete van-mounted systems to produce the pure water.

This was not ideal as it meant that the user’s entire earning power was tied up in that van. If the van broke down, was stolen or was damaged in an accident, there could be a serious lack of cash. Downtime and lost revenue are not good for any business. To make matters worse, to refill the tank with pure water each evening, the pole user needed a secure, accessible location for some eight hours, immobilizing the vehicle for that whole period.

Recently, however, a compact device called the Ultra Pure RO, available from Window Cleaning Warehouse, has given window cleaners a choice that saves time and makes more money.

Water for the day in a fraction of the time

The Ultra Pure RO is capable of producing over 500 litres of pure water in one hour, or 12,000 litres a day. A user can fill his or her van up, anywhere there is a tap, in less than an eighth of the usual time. This means more time available for work and greater earnings.

Once a sole trader has converted to cleaning with pure water, he or she is able to take on a larger amount of work, which may mean a need for

to drive it and clean windows. If he or she uses the Ultra Pure RO system, all that is needed is

to buy a larger delivery tank to cope with the extra water demand and the business is ready to go. If it is decided to add a further van, that is straightforward too. The business just buys a delivery tank and pump and it’s ready to go.

Growing companies that already operate a couple of vans can be in several places at once using the Ultra Pure RO system. If all the vans are out on the road, they simply leave the trolley on site for one job, while another operator takes the van to tackle the next. Some jobs might be a long distance from base, so the operator will need access to pure water to complete the work. The Ultra Pure RO makes this straightforward, as the operator can fill up in no time by tapping into a water source on site so that the work keeps getting done.
