ChargePoint Technology will be exhibiting a range of containment and powder handling systems. The ChargePoint range
of containment valves and integrated docking systems have established themselves as market leading solutions for contained powder handling throughout a wide range of chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech and food manufacturing processes. The company’s range of split valves will be available for live demonstrations and hands on experience.
Exhibits will include: ChargePoint DL - DiscLock technology containment valve and docking systems ideal for the dust free handling of larger quantities of material with IBCs. ChargePoint - a versatile range of containment valves for the safe transfer solid and semi solid ingredients for a wide range of processes including pressure and vacuum rated applications.

DMN-Westinghouse will present its new RID Rotor Interference Detection system at Powtech.
The Rotor Interference Detection (RID) system can be installed to minimise damage to the rotary valve and warn of possible contamination of the conveyed product in the unlikely instance of the rotor fouling the valve body or end covers. DMN-Westinghouse valves are produced with the highest accuracy and rotor movement is not likely to occur. However, should the rotor become damaged due to foreign objects passing through the valve, movement is possible. In that case the rigid and simple design of the RID ensures problem free operation. The RID system is a very simple make or break connection. In effect the rotor is insulated from the rest of the valve and if and when the rotor touches the casing, contact is made which is relayed to the system control. DMN do this by using high quality electrically insulated hybrid bearings which also have several other advantages.
