CAD Schroer
Stand: 5850
Factory owner/operators, machinery providers, and system integrators can get capital projects moving quickly with the help of engineering software experts CAD Schroer, process plant experts CEL International, and MPDS4 Factory Layout. CAD Schroer, the global engineering solutions provider, is teaming up with its customer, project engineering firm CEL International, at Total 2010. Together the two companies provide the software or services visitors need to lay out and model their factory, fit process and handling machinery into diverse spaces, or tackle a new build, integrating existing CAD data. The team will also offer a Factory Hotspot Modelling Service, first introduced at the PPMA Show 2009.

Fike UK Stand 5289
Fike UK is celebrating 25 years of protecting the UK processing industry this year. The company will be displaying the newest additions to its extensive range of explosion protection equipment. The Explosion Diverter enhances the previous range of Fike passive equipment. If deflagrations are allowed to propagate through pipes, they have a high probability of being able to transition from a deflagration into a detonation if not disengaged in a timely manner. The resulting explosion will not only damage the pipeline and accessories, but also make adequate protection of downstream process equipment impossible. The Fike Explosion Isolation Pinch Valve (EIPV), used in conjunction with other Fike explosion protection system components, provides a cost-effective solution to prevent deflagration propagation through interconnecting pipes or conveying lines. The EIPV benefits from being virtually maintenance free and capable of being reset by the user after activation.

Fortress Technology
Stand 5511
Fortress Technology will be highlighting a wide range of high performance Phantom metal detectors aimed at the food, pharmaceutical, lumber, plastics and textile industries. The latest Vector integrated conveyor system has been recently enhanced to meet new supermarket retailer standards. For example, it now features an alarm – either audible or visual - to indicate when there has been metal rejects in order to help identify potential issues early. The company will also be demonstrating an updated version of its Contact data-logging software and Gravity metal detector for accurate in line inspection of bulk dry, powder or granular products.
Ishida Europe Stand 5610
Weighing and packing solutions for a variety of products including snacks, fresh and frozen produce and ready meals, plus the latest developments in quality control systems, will form the focus of Ishida Europe’s stand at Total Processing & Packaging 2010. Highlights include an Astro snack food packing system, a high speed tray packing line, the latest multihead weigher solutions for fresh meat, an entry level X-ray inspection system, and Ishida’s recently launched IDCS data capture system for its checkweighers.
Jacob
Most manufacturers in the processing and packaging industry use Jacob (UK) modular pipework systems. With
diameters from 60-800mm, 3 finishes and the largest range of pipework sections and components, Jacob UK can advise on all types of installation.
Jacob Quick Connect is the modern solution for custom designed and built modular pipework with easily connected bends, segments and pipe sections, manufactured in mild steel or stainless steel in 1mm, 2mm or 3mm thicknesses, all with pressure tight connections.
Jacob (UK) will be showing its new continuously powder coated pipe, with both the internal and external surfaces coated for greater resistance to corrosion and scratches, excellent conductivity and with food grade FDA certification.
