The Islands Race

This is the fourth and final race of
the Southern Sound Series. There will
be awards presented for this race from
the Gig Harbor Yacht Club, as well
as, trophies from the Southern Sound
Series Council for top finishers in each
class for the series. So come out and
join us for this fun event that will take
the fleet from outside Gig Harbor to a
temporary mark (and Committee boat)
north of Blake Island before returning
to Gig Harbor for a distance of 29.5
nautical miles. There is a spinnaker
and no spinnaker divisions within the
