“One of my favorite memories of Duke and being around Coach K is the
camaraderie that he instilled in all of us. We were a family win, lose or
draw. If we lost, and we didn’t lose often, but if we did lose and gave our
best effort, he was proud of it. If we beat a team we should have beat but
didn’t give our best effort, we worked harder. That type of work ethic will
stick with me forever.”
