WEC veteran Gary Padilla headlined the 34th

but as time went by Mensing began to tire
and it showed. In the second round Padilla
got top position and stayed there. He threw
punches from inside Mensing’s guard for
much of the round as the German made
some vain attempts at reversals or submis-
sions but only managed to tire himself out. A
bloody and battered Mensing gave up on
his stool at the end of the second round.
