Step 6 : Its really that simple: First master your airbrush(practice depth. The wrinkles on the forehead are no different then in step
and practice). Look at your reference picture closely and paint 6. Here you can really create the difference in light and darker
what you see. Little lines, wrinkles are just an airbrushed line parts of the portrait. As you can see I just work on different
and then finish it by using an eraser to create depth. You can parts of the head at the same time always keeping the eyes as
always come back with more paint and erase it back for more the reference for the value of the darkest and lighter parts.
Step 7: In these pictures you can see I’ve started rendering darkest and lighter areas, just keep building up your tones and
the hair. Now in this portrait I am lucky that there isn’t much in between do some erasing to add some more depth. This
hair to deal with. Always maintain a good balance between the part took me about five hours to finish.
Step 8: Finishing of the sweater is the last area to be tackled and here you can see the finished portrait. The whole portrait took
me about 45 hours. I hope I have shown you that even using one single color, you can easily create a portrait. And remember, first
and the most important thing is really controlling your airbrush! Keep on practicing and most of all just keep having fun! Feel free
to email me with any questions you might have. info@airart.nl
