For the first layer of flame licks, I use Auto Air Transparent Pink. this stage as well. This is pretty much a no-brainer here, I just
The trans pink does not need reduced. It will take 3 – 4 coats crank back on the trigger, let the over-spray work for me, and
to bring the trans pink to full color potential, so I heat set during
let the paint fly!
I repeat the last two steps, adding
the last layer of flame licks and hot
spots. I use fewer, and more defined
licks for the top layer. I use the same
transparent pink for the top color,
but only bring it to about 75% color
potential, thus creating the illusion of
a 3rd layer to the fire.
