More tiny Daggers, using the same forest green/black I have rendered the pines reflection into the lake and sharpened the shore-
line, and fogged in the waters edge to reflect the land.
With over reduced white I paint long wiggly Dagger strokes to make small waves in the water, then mist the water area with the
over reduced white for more reflection appearance.
Well here it is complete, but I am not at all happy with the right side of the painting, so I have decided to repaint this side.
Here I have sprayed the entire right side of the painting with white to cover up what I did not like, then sprayed with light blue. This
is a great example of “It’s Just Paint”.
Using the same paint formulas as described earlier I have made the changes I wanted. I also added a little dark brown on the shadow
side of the mountains for better detail and depth.
One light tack coat, then a good cover coat of Krylon Matte finish clear and I am done. Here is a partial picture of it where it will
now reside over my living room bay window.Well I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did painting and sharing with you.
Remember there are many ways of doing a painting like this, experiment on your own, I have only shared with you my methods
of how I paint, until next time. Thanks, Lorin Gipe
