“Thisshotwasactuallytakenonlocationinagallerythat
hadaglassroof.Whenthesunwasoverhead,thelight
came flooding into the room so Iimmediately got the
modelinpositionstraightaway.
WhereIwaspositionedtoshootfromhowever,thefront
of the model was in total shadow. Iquickly set-up a
Gemini 500with theSunlight Reflector attached, took
anambientlightmeterreading,halvedtheexposureon
my flash to balance out the sunlight and started
shooting.
Thebestthingaboutthisattachmentisthatonceyou
use it in conjunction with real sunlight, its virtually
impossibletotelltheflashandthenaturallightapart.
Itsabilityforsofteningskintones,yetkeepingmaximum
sharpness is superb, it’s without a doubt the best
reflector available for beauty portraits and editorial
shots.”
