A Spring note from George
Hi All! First, I want to say thank you for all your kind emails regarding GHL. In the last issue I re-
quested you email a copy of the magazine to a friend (please keep it up), and oh boy we’re topping
our distribution to over 30 counties as of the last issue. As we celebrate our First Anniversary of
GHL, we’re busier than ever. You will see some wonderful additions to my TV shows, magazine,
and daily inspiring messages coming in the next year!
Spring is full of surprises. Just the other day when my mind was wandering and was far from
anything spring-like, I noticed the first bloom of daffodils popping up. I too count the hours until
winter exits.
Thinking about this a little deeper made me realize that quite o+en we become surprised when
something wonderful occurs when we least expect it. I relate it to the watched pot never boils
theory.
There can be times, when we may be waiting on a long line at the grocery checkout, thinking, am I
ever going to get out of here? Or, waiting for a table in a restaurant, even when you have a reser-
vation, or circle a parking lot for what seems like forever, for a spot. All insignificant events but
frustrating.
But, when you least expect it, just like seeing the first blooming daffodils, another cashier opens a
register, the host at the restaurant seats you at the best table, sends over a round of appetizers and
thanks you for being so patient and the very last row in the lot has a safe parking spot for your car.
So many good things do come along when you least expect it and Spring is the season that explodes
blooming with a new surprises each week. The secret is to just expect that the good is coming, don’t
wait and watch the pot, so to speak, just know it will come.
Enjoy!
George
