Celebrating its 10th anniversary, ESB Beo 2009 is a veritable roll call
of legendary voices. In a specially created show for The National
Concert Hall, Luka Bloom will perform songs from his most recent
album with Eddi Reader as special guest. Paul Brady will bring his
Travelin’Light Tour to town. Our special lunchtime performance with
the students from the Meitheal Summer School is an Orchestra with
a difference .80 traditional instruments on stage together including
a short set with musical genius Sharon Shannon. In a unique con-
cert performance, folk legends Waterson Carthy, featuring Norma
and Mike Waterson, Martin and Eliza Carthy alongside a sprawling
line-up of extended family play the Main Auditorium for the first
time. Join the singers with the songs, the songwriters, musicians and
composers for some magical musical moments at The National
Concert Hall this Summer.
