Although much has changed over


the years, one goal re-


mains fixed—the mission to give back to veterans and to those with special needs. Why these specific groups of peo- ple? Williams, who has been a member of the charity’s board since its inception, explains, “We realized the need of sup- porting veterans who come back and are injured, or have problems readjusting back into the community. We also have compassion for children with special needs because this group really touches our hearts, and we’re motivated to get behind and support them.”
