Paths to Healing and Wholeness T

Compassionate Harvest

by Madeleine Tuttle

uring her childhood years growing up in Switzerland, Madeleine Tuttle began her life-long exploration of the many varieties of artistic expression, and eventually deepened her study of art through education in England, Switzerland and the United States which led her to becoming a Waldorf teacher. Her art is strongly infl uenced by her extensive travels covering six continents and her interest in spiritual healing. Formal studies of ink brush painting in Japan contribute a Zen spirit to her unique watercolor style, and another important factor is her love for nature. Today, besides painting her original works, she creates covers for CDs and books by her spouse, pianist/composer and author Dr. Will Tuttle. Together they have created an album of original music, Inspiration, featuring their duet improvisations with Madeleine on the silver fl ute. She is a long-time vegan and her painting, “Compassionate Harvest,” refl ects her love of animals and nature. Her creative blending of vibrant and delicate colors reveals some of her vision—that underlying the outer differences we see around us, there is a mysteriously unifying life to be explored and celebrated. Madeleine also has a series of cooking videos on YouTube. There is more information about her art, crafts, music, and work at www.willtuttle.com/madeleine
