V4Velindre Charity
Compilation
Kevin McGrath, a Buzz writer back in the day and hardy booster of Welsh music, has compiled an epic 43-band album in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre – a gesture of gratitude for the care they’ve given him since 2013. V4Velindre features a majority Welsh lineup, with songs from Adwaith, Boy
Silent Forum featuring, while The Wedding Present and The Nightingales chip in from further afield.
Info: Finding Home
Mercury Theatre Wales presents a series of true-to-life stories about people who haven’t always had homes, performed by a company comprised of some who have experienced it themselves. The two performances, aiming to shift the conversation around homelessness, include an exhibition by Izzy Oak and a round-table discussion of the play’s content.
Depot, Cardiff, Mon 11 + Tue 12 Oct. Tickets: £13.75/£11. Info:
