Gathering (26th – 28th April) hosts music from Baltic Crossing, Brian McNeill, Topette, Fiddler’s Elbow, Chris Ormston, Katrina Porteous, Jim Grant and more.


La Linea is London’s Latin Music Festival, taking place from 26th April – 5th May in various


Maravillas de Mali – La Linea


venues across the capital. The line- up includes Yelfris Valdés, La Yegros, João Bosco, Celso Piña, Maravillas de Mali, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Carla Morrison and more.


Kilfenora Traditional Music


Festival, County Clare, takes place 26th – 29th April with sessions, singers’ nights, concerts, ceilidhs and workshops across the village’s pubs and venues, with appearances from Frankie Gavin and the Roaring 20s Irish Orchestra, Naoise Kettle, and the resident Kilfenora Céilí Band.


Stanser Musikstage in


Switzerland (30th April – 5th May) features Alinis, Baul Meets Saz, Die Strottern &


Blech, Ean, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Les Amazones d’Afrique and many more.


Raunds Music Festival (2nd – 5th May) features The Blair Dunlop Band, Gilmore & Roberts Trio, Dovetail Trio, Belshazzar’s Feast, The Frank Burkitt Band, Will Finn & Rosie Calvert, Becka Wolfe, Fred Claridge and more.

Rochester Sweeps Festival is on 4th – 6th May and has appearances from Kimber’s Men, Truckstop, Honeymoon, Banter, Track Dogs, Glymjack, Fabulous Fezheads, The Lowly Strung, Hot Rats and more.

Dart Music Festival takes


place in Dartmouth on 10th -12th May and features Heg & The Wolf Chorus, Noble Jacks, Adam Holmes & The Embers, Phil King, Ethan Barton, Carousel and more.


It’s the 21st year of Cromer’s Folk On The Pier (10th – 12th May), with a line-up including John Tams & Barry Coope, Richard Digance, Jamie Smith’s Mabon, Ashley Hutchings & Becky Mills, Daphne’s Flight, Merry Hell, Megson, Will Pound & Eddy Jay, Oysterband and more.


Holmfirth Folk Festival takes place on 10th – 12th May with Steve Tilston, Chris Cleverley Trio, Bella and Polly, String Theory, Paul & Liz Davenport, Steve Turner and more.
