Dufeu IT
Space to find a new way of working
Investment in improvements to its premises in Furnace Lane, Wellingborough, has left Dufeu IT Solutions with not only an attractive and inspiring place to work, but also one with a bespoke design that lends itself to a growing company in a modern world. The interior work is completed at the site,
which now houses not only Dufeu IT’s sales and technical engineering team, but also its print division, which was previously at a separate site in Wellingborough.
As well as doubling the workshop space to
allow the technical team more capacity to work on clients’ laptops and PCs, so increasing effi ciency, the rest of the building has been fi tted out to provide workstations, collaborative spaces and break-out areas to meet the needs of today’s workforce. Dufeu IT Solutions provide a comprehensive
range of IT and technical services for businesses, supporting all IT needs, from strategic projects to day-to-day management and maintenance. From the practical infrastructure – cabling,

investment in the refurbished offi ces has always been about enhancing the environment for the team. “Firstly, we wanted a space they would want to come and work in, so
we created modular breakout areas where collaboration can happen, as well as plenty of options for getting away from their desks, just to go and sit somewhere diff erent, maybe somewhere quieter. “It’s such a good place to work that we have even had customers
who’ve come in for meetings, and when we’re done, they’ve just hung around for a while, got on with some work of their own and just enjoyed being in the environment we’ve created.” T e workshop space has doubled, replacing what were becoming
cramped conditions with no room to work on more than four or fi ve laptops without spilling over into someone else’s area, with enough space for twice that, as well as shelving and counter space to work on desktop PCs. “T e extra space has defi nitely enhanced effi ciency,” said Greg. “And now that we’re back in the offi ce, the team is working more effi ciently together, too.
