Harnessing the magic of technology


David Penn is a performer who has never stood still when it comes to the business of entertainment. He doesn't just perform the usual magic eff ects, the like of which you may have seen before at corporate events; he is a world-renowned tech magician. "Tech magic mixes physical, magical eff ects with the digital world using mobile phones and tablets,” said David. T is unique style of entertainment has undoubtedly been wowing David’s regular clients, including Sony, Panasonic and BT. For CISCO, David toured the world in 2019, launching the Spark Board to press and industry buyers, for which

he created an interactive performance demonstrating the device's unique features. David is an Associate of T e Inner Magic Circle and has lectured


from London to Las Vegas on his unique style of magic and inventions used by magicians worldwide. Acting as a creative consultant for television magicians and Got Talent Golden Buzzer performers has helped David develop a process that he can apply to any event or product launch. For example, when Hyundai wanted to launch their new seven-


seater Santa Fe, David and his team created a unique, unbelievable illusion. At the UK Motor Show, seven people mysteriously appeared inside the new car whilst a media audience surrounded it. When David fi rst became interested in magic at the age of ten, the


entertainment scene was very diff erent. "I loved performers like Wayne Dobson and Paul Daniels,” he said.


“Performers like these had the opportunity to perform in cabaret venues and clubs, which were abundant throughout the UK. Unfortunately, over the years, these types of venues have seriously declined, so I am thankful that I was able to transition to the corporate market.” Highly respected on the conference circuit, David uses his unique


set of skills to demonstrate how to change people's perceptions and energise the delegates at the start of an important session. David was
