College installs Advanced technology
CHICHESTER COLLEGE is now using Advanced’s MxPro 5 panels, which were installed by PA Fire Systems and include an Advanced TouchControl touch screen repeater. Advanced stated that the West
Sussex college was opened in 1964, and houses over 5,000 full time students studying for a range of qualifi cations. Having been ‘substantially upgraded and refurbished’ in the last few years, the site has now seen Advanced’ MxPro 5 panels installed for fi re protection, with around 300 individual components making up the installation. Door-stop launches fire door side panels
ION SCIENCE launched the ‘world’s fi rst’ photoionisation detector (PID) fi re investigation kit, for detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at the sites of suspected arson incidents. The kits include detectors, a probe, battery pack, charging cradle and other

within a carry case, and are said to be ‘easy to use with minimal
