BBQ IDEAS TO GET THE PARTY STARTED
Everyone is looking forward to socialising again and a BBQ provides the perfect opportunity. This year could see customers planning bigger and better BBQs. Innovative Food Ingredients are predicting ‘fresh, vibrant and feel-good flavours for Summer 2021’ with everything from zesty citrus to robust spices featuring.
Here’s a few ideas and suggestions to get you and your customers started.
This showstopping lamb shoulder joint is small on prep but big on flavour. Leave to marinate overnight in olive oil, rosemary, balsamic vinegar and sliced red onion, then slow roast on the BBQ, or in the oven, and finish on the barbie. See the full recipe at:

Kebabs are a perennial favourite with customers. These zesty pork skewers couldn’t be easier and would work well with chicken too. Add the meat to a simple marinade of lemon juice and oregano, before threading onto skewers with chunks of red pepper and cherry tomatoes.
Ring the changes and dial up the spice with these Asian Spiced Burgers with Mango Chutney. Served in mini naans these burgers are made using robust spices like garam masala, turmeric, ginger, garlic and coriander. See the full recipe here:
