LATEST DEVELOPMENTS FROM LUCAS went to the deep South of
Lucas launched Easicure Reduced Salt Dry Cure. With 25% less salt than Traditional Easicure, this revolutionary new product is selling very well as it provides retail butchers with the opportunity to offer a “healthier” option in their bacon range. Easicure Reduced Salt bacon is moist and succulent and can be introduced as a premium line. In another “first” Lucas
has identified the top-selling Butchers Classic Sausage
Mixes and following customer demand, has now introduced larger pack sizes. Butchers Classic Cracked Black Pepper and Lincolnshire complete sausage mixes are now available in 5 x 2.5kg packs and Cumberland is available in a 5 x 2.25kg pack – all of which make a 20kg finished batch of delicious sausages. Lucas “Smokehouse” is a
brand new range created to respond to developments in consumer wants and tastes. Te market for smoked products and smoke flavours is growing rapidly and the first two products in the range are “Louisiana” and “Tennessee” Burger Mixes.
