The Show of Hands Trio looks a little different this autumn…


It’s been quite a 12 months for Show of Hands, featuring an extraordinary reaction to their haunting cathedral tour ‘Sanctuary’, sell-out shows at eminent venues like Shakespeare’s Globe and the Cutty Sark, solo tours, duo tours and Steve’s writing for the upcoming studio album. Miranda and husband Dan are embarking on their own adventure with their first baby due in November, and so Cormac Byrne (legendary percussionist of Seth Lakeman Band fame) steps into the breach with his spectacular talents to complete the Show of Hands autumn trio. Together, Steve and Phil will deliver the festival favourites that fans know and love, with Cormac adding a new twist. They’ll also showcase the results of Steve’s recent songwriting with ‘No Secrets’ ‘Make the right noises’ ‘Battlefield Dance floor’ and ‘Dreckley’ all featuring on the forthcoming studio album. Keynote speaker Iolo Williams is well known both in and outside of Wales as a naturalist, TV presenter, conservationist, writer, inspiring public speaker and he’s an MCS Ocean Ambassador. Cardiff- based wildlife biologist, Lizzie Daly is also an MCS Ocean Ambassador, and has been a regular face on CBBC and Cbeebies as well as working on various BBC and National Geographic productions. Lizzie will chair an inspiring session with gold medal-winning, Paralympian swimmer, Susannah Rodgers, MBE. Iolo Williams said:
