InventoryBase support AIIC in their bid to make inventories mandatory
Providers of cloud-based property inspection soſtware, InventoryBase back Te Association of Independent Inventory Clerks (AIIC) as they launch an online petition to make changes within the lettings industry.
Te Association of Independent Inventory Clerks (AIIC) have recently launched a campaign in a bid to regulate the way inventories and property inspections are carried out within the lettings sector. Over a fiſth of all households now fall into the private rented sector and there is currently no legislation in place making an inventory or property inspection mandatory on assured shorthold tenancies. Te AIIC believe that full protection should be offered to all parties within the letting process. By using independent and by setting a standard of inventory reporting, this can ensure that no biased reports are used – resulting in fair treatment of both tenant and landlord across the board.
