Lottery Winners Return to Bobath Children’s Centre
Several months after a team of National Lottery millionaires created a magical, gingerbread- inspired playhouse for a Cardiff charity, some of the winners paid a return visit to the children’s centre to see how their donation was making a difference to the lives of staff and visitors. Last December, 24 lottery winners spent 48-hours at Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales, transforming a log cabin into a giant gingerbread house to give the charity some much needed extra space. Winners worth in excess of £5million popped into the Whitchurch facility to see the new gingerbread house in action and help add a touch of summer to the charity’s garden by installing some colourful fl oral displays. Bobath in Cardiff is a centre for children with cerebral palsy which has previously received over £490K in funding thanks to National Lottery players. Bobath therapists
has been turned into a vital meeting room for a charity that is quickly outgrowing its Cardiff base. Rachel Morgan, Head of Income Generation for Bobath said: “We were thrilled when The National Lottery winners offered to build us a new meeting room. In our time in Whitchurch, Bobath has grown so much that every inch of our centre is being used.

Timmy is a 1½ year old Crossbreed. He is a sweet lad once he builds up a relationship with you. He is worried when meeting new people so we do advise slow introductions. He will suit an experienced, quiet adult only home with no visiting children and he will need to be the only pet in the home. He is house-trained and he also loves going out and about in the car and having nice long walks! He will require multiple visits to the centre to get to build up a bond but he will defi nitely be worth it! If you would to fi nd out more about Timmy, ring Dogs Trust Bridgend on 01656 725219 or visit the centre at Court Colman, Bridgend CF31 4NG. Check out our website www.
