Vale of Glamorgan Show ‘18 THIS IS YOUR PROOF
T e Vale of Glamorgan Show will be at Fonmon Castle Park, near Cardiff Airport on Wednesday 8th August. With are more than 200 Trade Stands on the fi eld, marketing and selling a huge variety of goods. A Food Hall stands in the centre of the fi eld selling produce, most of which has been grown or made in the Vale, along with a Shopping Mall. T e Show hosts a
large Craſt Fair and Horticultural Show along with a Home Produce marquee. T ere is also the Poultry Show and KC Registered Dog Show and Cattle and Sheep Classes. Horse Classes run in the main ring from 6.30am until 3pm when there is a spectacular Grand Parade of all the Prize Winning Animals. For more details visit http://www.

Tell Tales with Fiona is at Margam Country Park, Port Talbot on Monday 20 August 2018. 11.30am - Water Tales - Mermaids, Magic and Monsters of the Deep. Find out how the sea got salty, learn how the clever monkey tricked the dangerous shark and enjoy the tale of T e Frog Prince, and other watery tales from around the world. 1.45pm - Welsh Folktales and Legends. Traditional tales from around Wales. Stories fi lled with fairies, ghosts, witches and even in some cases, dragons. Discover the trick that Puck the fairy played on the young bride, how the dragon got on the Welsh fl ag, and what happens when the imp escapes from the magic book. Free sessions in the Castle! Grand Medieval Mêlée A day full of the sights and sounds of life
centuries ago with all the hustle and bustle of a medieval encampment! With all the hustle and bustle of a medieval encampment, music, games, displays and Have- a-go archery activities. A new Tournament of the Knights featuring T e Warwick Warriors, colourful tents, noble knights and fascinating falconry demonstrations create a great day of time-travelling and a fabulous family day out. At Cardiff Castle on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 August, 10am - 5pm.
