BORSTAL GRACE IN GHANA News from Pastor Praise Agyei, Reformed Baptist Church,
Agona Swedru
Thank you for your continued sup- port for my compassionate work among them, providing necessities and confi rming our care for them. Thank you also for helping me to replace my vehicle and so enabling me to continue with the evangelistic visitation and to support the ministry in many practical ways. Evangelism in the community leads me to people with many misunder- standings. Recently a lady told me the leader of her church claimed that the Angel Gabriel spoke through him. I showed her from Scripture that this was false and she has decided to come to our church. Another lady from a charismatic church said she had never heard the true Gospel before but only material prosperity messages. Several people depend on good works and need to hear the message of grace. Please, continue

to remember us in your prayers so that we can continually win lost souls for Christ. We baptised 13 converts in Febru-
ary, including some of the borstal boys. Here are brief testimonies of some of the others. An elderly man had repeatedly ignored the invita- tion of his niece to come to church. On the Sunday he fi nally visited he was greatly affected when he heard the Gospel. He has become a new creature, departing from many sin- ful ways and habits, and is a regular attender. Two sisters who live close to our church used to attend a char- ismatic church with their parents. They accepted our invitation to come to a Gospel service, as a result of which they repented and trusted in Christ as their Lord and Saviour. They have continued with us despite the appeals of their family. An eld- erly woman who sells foodstuffs in the market, and was aggressive towards customers who enquired about prices but did not buy, was converted during my evangelistic work. Her customers say that she has changed completely and has a friendly manner.
