Brendon raises the pressure
Brendon promoted new additions to its range, including the 50KPE-VT and 70KPE-VT pressure washers, offering 5,000psi and 7,000psi respectively. The compact machines are powered by Honda V Twin petrol engines, utilise a heavy-duty tubular steel chassis and incorporate a large capacity, horizontal live hose reel with an integral moulded fuel tank. Large pneumatic wheels
and a front mounted jockey wheel are fitted for manoeuvrability. The company reports that the range was very

Thwaites old timer marks celebration
In amongst its modern yellow site dumpers, a red machine stood out on the Thwaites stand. First introduced in 1951 and entering production the following year, the three-wheeler was the company’s first site dumper. It had a capacity of 750kg and was powered by a Petter single cylinder AVA1 air-cooled diesel engine with drive to its rear wheels. The purpose of this attention-grabbing exhibit was to highlight
Thwaites’ 80th anniversary of producing machines in Warwickshire. Initially the company made agricultural equipment before adding construction products. The first Thwaites 4WD site dumper appeared in 1962 and a notable
achievement in 1981 was the development of the Kinglink three-point centre pivot. Last year the company unveiled its new 6-tonne and 9-tonne cab-equipped models, complete with integrated camera systems.
