Similarly, the company’s production teams craft the concept into a physical

product, equipped with creative design expertise. This results in an experience that is brought to life using innovative methodologies, true to its design. In its business, P&P Projects continuously aims to maintain its core values. An

example here is the ambition that has been with the company since its origin: the crafting of realistic models by current CEO and creative director Philipp van Stratum. He explains: “One of our biggest achievements, I would say, is how we developed a great team consisting of different generations – all sharing the same team spirit. We have developed our business from our initial models to the design and production of complete award-winning dark rides. We work with prestigious brands such as Disney and Universal, and are trusted to bring to

life world-famous stories as well as create new ones. This is something we are really proud of.” Ifat Caspi, CCO, explains how the P&P Projects team flourishes the most in

its collaboration and its constant ‘thinking in possibilities’ – in other words, what it means to be a partner and more than just a vendor. He says: “During our projects, we dive into the DNA of our client and their scope of work in order to craft the desired end result in the most fitting way. We share the same goal: to deliver the best possible experience.”

The upcoming year The leisure industry has endured an interesting time of late, with COVID-19 in the mix for the past couple of years. Van Stratum comments: “The pandemic has taught us many things, as it encouraged us to work in new, innovative ways. One of the most important is retaining a constant sense of flexibility. The world is rapidly moving, changing and shifting, and we have to adapt.” Even though the pandemic struck the industry very hard, the P&P Projects

team is glad to have had a set of successful projects to look back at. This includes the delivery of projects such as the award-winning Underlandet at Liseberg, as well as the world-class Jurassic World Adventure dark ride at the brand-new Universal Beijing Resort. Recent months have seen the completion of multiple new projects for trusted

partners such as Europa-Park, London’s Science Museum and Babylon Park London. Furthermore, the P&P Projects team is proud to have delivered various projects for both the Disney Cruise Line as well as the Disney Parks. The team has been working with world-renowned IPs and is extremely proud to have transformed these into immersive experiences for guests to enjoy.

Immersive exhibitions at London's Science Museum In the upcoming year, this process continues with clients such as Warner Bros.

in Europe, as well as market leaders in the United States. This is combined with the turn-key development of a completely new themed entertainment concept – done in collaboration with Grupo Vidanta, Latin America’s leading resort developer. All in all, the team is buzzing with excitement as these epic design- build projects are taking shape. With this in sight, P&P Projects has undergone further expansions in its

departments, growing both its design and production teams. Combined with the opening of an additional location in the Netherlands, these developments have continued to strengthen the company’s specialised end-to-end approach.

Looking ahead In the long term, the P&P Projects team is looking forward to seeing how the industry is influenced by the trends that are at play in today’s leisure culture. Caspi explains: “We can see market segments slowly blending together. Everyone wants an extra layer of experience (in the literal sense of the word) added to their product, for guests to enjoy. “People want to actively explore, to be engaged. In today’s age, we get exposed

to an abundance of different impressions on a daily basis. This is reflected in the guest expectations for leisure experiences, which are constantly rising. We expect themed entertainment to offer something more, something memorable.” Naturally, this broadens the horizon for P&P Projects to play into. It has been

noticeable in the evolution of the company’s portfolio, as it has expanded its network of clients to include cruise lines, resorts, global brands and more. Caspi concludes: “It is exciting. As experts in the field of ‘experience’, we can

tailor to these needs and provide our turn-key design-build expertise to anyone who is keen to offer an immersive experience.”
