Julien Henricot


Park World’s Matt Broughton spoke with VEX Solutions’ CEO, Julien Henricot, about engineering, technology and the importance of listening to operators, players, and partners around the world.


Matt: Julien, can you tell us about your industry background before you came to VEX Solutions? Julien: Before co-founding VEX Solutions, I was always passionate about the world of entertainment. With an engineering background and a strong interest in technology, I’ve always believed that using innovation to make people dream and smile is one of the best ways to apply technical progress. After several years working as a digital transformation consultant at


Deloitte, my long-time friends, colleagues, and I decided to found our own company, leveraging the experience we had gained, along with our technical and managerial expertise.


Matt: How did you become CEO there? Julien: We actually started as operators ourselves, opening one of the first virtual reality centres in Europe: The VEX - Virtual Experience. Very quickly, we wanted to push immersion to the next level by building a truly ultra-immersive experience, the VEX Adventure. The tremendous success of that project within our own venue inspired us to make it available to other operators, and that’s how VEX Solutions was born.

VEX started as a small team with a big idea: to make virtual reality


experiences that combine deep immersion with operational simplicity. At the beginning, I was involved in every stage, from product design to testing and installing our first systems. As the company grew, I focused more on leading our strategy and ensuring we stayed ahead of both technology and market needs. Today, I’m guiding a team that’s passionate about making immersive experiences not just exciting, but sustainable and accessible for operators everywhere.
