While the summer months typically inspire vacations to warm climate destinations, SeaWorld Orlando has taken the polar-opposite approach. Park World’s North American Editor, Susan Storey, Reports.
W
ith the grand opening of Expedition Odyssey, SeaWorld is taking guests on an incredible journey to the Arctic,
showcasing the diverse array of species that call the icy climate home. The attraction, a MACK AIRIFC flying theatre
guests close with marine and sea life with the latest technology and engineering to provide an immersive experience that is breathtakingly authentic.

Belugas peacefully emerge from the under ice, providing a visual reminder that Arctic is not land covered in snow, but instead a vast collection of floating ice.
as if we were capturing footage for a wildlife documentary. Nor did we use that style of equipment. The teams captured outstanding, and amazing wildlife footage that brings our guests along with them, using custom drones, custom lens, custom cameras. They had the concept for the ride experience in mind as they collected every shot. For instance, during the planning stages, we knew we wanted to have our guests with us as the camera dove into the water.
