Singapore Market Update For decades, Singapore has been one of the leading leisure and cultural destinations in Asia. Singapore continues to cement its status as a top- tier entertainment market with a continual program of new themed experiences, upgrades of existing attractions and nature-based parks.
Sentosa Island / Resorts World Singapore Sentosa Island and Resort World Singapore are the top attraction and leisure cluster in Singapore. Universal Studio Singapore is in the midst of a significant renovation and upgrade program as part of a larger US$6.8 billion capex program for the overall resort complex. The Minion Land opened in February 2025 with unique attractions, themed retail and dining. The Super Nintendo World Singapore, is under construction, modeled after the hit Nintendo theme zones in Universal Japan and the Epic Orlando. In addition to expanding Universal Studios, Resorts World is constructing a major new 700 room hotel, greatly expanding the aquarium and completely rebuilding the retail dining and entertainment complex. Gardens By The Bay Gardens by the Bay has had great success blending short term IP attractions with unique botanical gardens. In 2022, they hosted a short- lasted 14 months and welcomed 2.63 million visitors. The botanical garden is now presenting a new immersive walk-through based on the movie Jurassic World. Jurassic World: The Experience is an immersive exhibition, bringing dinosaurs to life with animatronic creatures. Gardens by the Bay also has a successful night sound and light shows which they change the music and lighting effects about every 6 weeks to bring back local visitors. Overall Gardens by the Bay has become one of the leading attraction zones in Singapore.
