Second Mountain Coaster track at Revelstoke Mountain Resort
R
evelstoke Mountain Resort (Canada) has heralded the start of the 2024 summer season with the opening of a second
mountain coaster track ("track #2"). Ideally located on Highway 1 for summer guests
and travellers passing through, the so-called "Pipe Mountain Coaster" already enjoyed great popularity with its original track. With this expansion, the Sunkid customer expects a further positive boost for summer tourism, whose upswing in recent years has been closely linked to the success of the popular summer toboggan run. As a highlight of the summer season, which runs
from June to September, the year-round destination in south-eastern British Columbia describes its Sunkid Mountain Coaster as follows: "Buckle up and feel the wind in your hair as you hurtle down the mountain on this wild ride. This thrilling ride with hairpin bends, steep drops and rapid speeds is something you've never experienced before." This description applies to both "track #1" and
the new "track #2", as the second is at least as adrenaline-pumping as the original track. The new 1.4-kilometre-long descent chases its riders over jumps and through the first of two tunnels right at the start. This is followed by a wave segment of almost 25 meters as well as long passages through

some narrow forest aisles - with high-speed full- throttle sections and several steep bends. A photo point provides the perfect souvenir photo with hair tousled by the wind. Less sporty summer guests can also experience all this after a gondola ride to the middle station.
They now have the choice between the two routes - and with the action on offer and the different panoramic views, a second ride is definitely worthwhile! The Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers special deals for a second ride and even an experience package for unlimited day use.
