ADVERTORIAL
A bigger, bolder and more inclusive SEND Village at Bett UK 2026
A
round two in five children are recorded to have some kind of special educational need at some point between reception and Year 11 (Hutchinson, 2021). Based on this it is likely that there is a child with special educational needs and disabilities in every classroom, making SEND a part of every teacher and school leader’s role. Following feedback from our audience, we understood the demand for a SEND-focused area at Bett UK. From this need, the SEND Village was born with a dedicated SEND theatre and more than 50+ inspiring and informative, CPD-accredited content sessions from industry-leading experts. Following the overwhelming success at Bett UK 2025, in April, we hosted our very own SEND event at Bett HQ to champion accessibility, diversity and inclusion.
Expanding space, expanding opportunities
The growth of the SEND Village for 2026 reflects just how important this area has become for schools, educators, and solution providers alike. In 2025, the SEND Village covered 172sqm but for 2026, it will grow by an incredible 84.3% expanding to a total of 317sqm. This substantial increase means more opportunities for visitors to connect with exhibitors, attend CPD-accredited sessions, and take away practical strategies to support SEND in the classroom.
More exhibitors, more solutions
Exhibitor and sponsor numbers are also climbing. Last year, the SEND Village featured eight exhibitors and five sponsors. With five months to go, we’ve already doubled this and can’t wait to witness its continued growth! This growth highlights the incredible demand for SEND-focused innovation and the importance of Bett in connecting the sector with educators who are eager to make a difference.
Strong partnerships driving impact
We are also delighted to continue our collaboration with the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA). Their support, through referrals and sector expertise, ensures that the SEND Village continues to be a hub where educators can discover the most effective and innovative solutions for learners with SEND.
The SEND Village is more than just an exhibition space, it is a community dedicated to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion. With thousands of education professionals attending Bett, and with buyer interest in SEND solutions rising year-on-year, the 2026 edition promises to raise the bar even higher.
What’s next?
As Bett UK 2026 approaches, we remain committed to making the SEND Village the go-to destination for discovering the latest in SEND innovation. Alongside the show, we are excited to be launching an exclusive SEND whitepaper very soon, providing even more insights and guidance for schools navigating this crucial area.
At Bett, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. The SEND Village is our way of ensuring that accessibility and inclusion are not only discussed but embedded at the heart of education’s future.
