omo se podrá apreciar, la nota de mayor arraigo para la industria del juego regional, principalmente, y global por su gran alcance ha sido la aprobación de la Ley de apuestas deportivas en Brasil. Sin embargo, países como Chile y Ecuador también trabajan en poner mas orden o legislar este sector y el del juego online. En fin, casi toda Latinoamérica sigue en proceso de desarrollo con la propuesta de tres nuevos hotel-casinos en Uruguay, la pronta inauguración del Bingo Imperatriz, que en realidad es un casino completo en la ciudad de Santa Tecla en las afueritas de San Salvador, capital El Salvador, en Centroamérica, y también aguardando la publicación del Reglamento de la ley de apuestas remotas en Perú para la completa apertura del juego reglamentado en el país. Ahora, después de nuestra visita al SBC Barcelona, con harta presencia latinoamericana incluyendo un simpático servicio de comida peruana, nos alistamos para el G2E de las vegas del 10 al 12 de octubre y luego el SBC Latinoamérica entre el 31 de octubre y el 02 de noviembre, en Hollywood, Florida. ¡Allá nos vemos!

Cámara aprueba proyecto de ley que regula las apuestas deportivas
La Cámara de Diputados aprobó el miércoles 13 de septiembre el proyecto de ley que regula las apuestas deportivas – llamadas localmente como apuestas de cuotas fijas - que prevé una nueva distribución de ingresos tributarios, pago de licencias, requisitos y restricciones para operar negocios de apuestas deportivas. El texto incorpora la Medida Provisional 1182/23, que regulaba el tema, y siguiendo el proceso en Diputados el texto para al Senado.

BRAZIL Congress approves bill regulating sports betting
Brazil’s House of Representatives Chamber of Deputies approved the bill regulating sports betting – also called fixed odds betting – on Wednesday 13 September, with provisions for a new distribution of tax revenue, payment of licenses, requirements, and restrictions to operate sports betting businesses. The text incorporates Provisional Measure 1182/23 (PM), which regulated the issue. Following this process, the approved text will be sent to the Senate.

s may be read below, our report on Brazil Congress approval of Sports Betting legislation is one single article we bring mainly for its significant importance in the regional gaming industry, but also of the overall global impact based on Brazil’s economic stance in the world. However, countries
such as Chile and Ecuador are also working on putting more order by legislating this sector and online gambling. And there are signs of industry development throughout Latin America with proposals of three new hotel-casinos in Uruguay, and the impending inauguration of Bingo Imperatriz, which is actually a full casino in the city of Santa Tecla on the outskirts of San Salvador, capital city of El Salvador, in Central America. Also waiting in the wings is the publication of Regulations to the remote betting law in Peru that will bring a totally regulated gambling industry in the country.
