This follows JCM Global signing an agreement with umAfrika, that will see it distributing award-winning automated transaction technologies in South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Indian Ocean Islands. gambling industry, umAfrika Gaming Technologies is a majority black-owned company that has exclusive distribution rights to Aristocrat gaming products in Africa. 2018, saw an expansion to the business when it introduced electronic bingo terminals to the market and later securing distribution rights to StylGame Chairs.

Bill acceptors were introduced to the gaming floors of South Africa in the early 90’s and have become a crucial component in the gaming machine for transactions. The partnership is a result of umAfrika’s realisation that as the years have progressed billing technologies have become smarter with improved efficiency and security to maximise convenience. With more than 160 years combined industry
experience among staff, umAfrika will soon be initiating a phased in approach for the distribution of JCM products within the local market. The initial
phase will involve assisting Zootny with technical support and electronic bench repairs. The second phase will see an expansion in JCM sales and technical staff at umAfrika. We believe in uplifting and empowering people, as such our technical learnership will now involve a JCM training programme which will enable learners to service JCM products at all major casinos in South Africa and umAfrika offices. NOVOMATIC AFRICA Partners with The Rank Group on yet Another Successful Casino Opening
On the 22nd of October a picturesque scene was set in decorative dice & casino chip pieces, signature golden peacock crafts, the lobby cladded with scenic flower arrangements and a Casino Marina Blantyre branded banner wall. The Rank Entertainment Holdings group was set to welcome esteemed guests through its doors to yet another grand opening of one of their casinos. Casino Marina Blantyre is situated at the
prestigious five-star Sogecoa Golden Peacock Hotel. It is the group`s second casino in Malawi and the latest addition to the Casino Marina foot print. The group’s other casinos are situated in major cities around East Africa, namely Maputo, Beira, Lusaka, Harare, Lilongwe and now also in Blantyre. The event was very prestigious with government officials and socialites in attendance. The ribbon cutting ceremony was officiated by the Malawi Minister of Tourism, Culture & Wildlife, Hon. Michael Usi. The Minister delivered a moving speech in praise of the Rank Holdings Group and its commitment to invest in Malawi. The Minister`s speech was met with a sincere speech of gratitude delivered by Mr Rahul Wijeratne (Executive Director, Rank Entrainment Holdings) whom reiterated the Rank Group`s commitment and confidence in Malawi as an investment destination and the prospects of the Casino Marina investment vehicle. The presence of TV Personalities and a broadcasting network captured the moment and made for a spectacular evening with performances by local, traditional dancers and a festive flare of confetti and fireworks.
