COLOMBIA Operadores lanzan campaña #YoLeApuesto


Las empresas de apuestas online que operan en Colombia, los gremios Asojuegos y Fecoljuegos, con el apoyo de Coljuegos, informaron el lanzamiento de la campaña de concientización #YoLeApuesto para proteger la integridad de las competiciones deportivas en Colombia. Se trata de una serie de mensajes que bajo la etiqueta #YoLeApuesto a publicarse, a través de las redes sociales y de las plataformas digitales de las organizaciones articuladas en esta iniciativa. La intención es hacer un llamado a todas las


personas vinculadas con los deportes de manera directa e indirecta con el propósito de concientizar y prevenir cualquier conducta inusual que afecte los resultados de las competiciones deportivas. También buscar invitar a los usuarios de apuestas deportivas a que jueguen a través de las 16 plataformas autorizadas por Coljuegos, ya que, esta es una forma no solo de respaldar la legalidad, sino que también, de comprometerse con un monitoreo y control seguro de los posibles riesgos de manipulaciones deportivas en las competiciones. “La industria de juegos de suerte y azar y en particular los juegos


operados por internet somos un aliado del deporte y, como tal, estamos trabajando de manera articulada con instituciones deportivas en acciones que permitan capacitar, concientizar, generar intercambio de información y, en general, fortalecer buenas prácticas para velar y garantizar la integridad deportiva. Estamos convencidos de que solo unidos lograremos blindar de cualquier amenaza los diferentes deportes del país. Las casas de apuestas están comprometidas porque serían las más afectadas con cualquier situación indeseada y por eso nos sumamos satisfactoriamente a esta gran estrategia de concientización”, afirmó el presidente de Fecoljuegos, Evert Montero Cárdenas. Por su parte, el presidente de Asojuegos, Juan Carlos Restrepo,


agrega: “Buscamos visibilizar el compromiso que tenemos con la integridad deportiva y con la preservación de una industria que aporta millonarios recursos a la salud de todos los colombianos. La manera de recordar y enfatizar nuestra entrega a trabajar por la transparencia es a través de este tipo de campañas”.


COLOMBIA Gaming operators launch #YoLeApuesto campaign


Online betting companies operating in Colombia plus the land- based gaming associations Asojuegos and Fecoljuegos together with the support of regulators Coljuegos, have launched the #YoLeApuesto awareness campaign to protect the integrity of sporting competitions in Colombia. The campaign is through a series of messages under the #YoLeApuesto, published through the social networks and digital platforms of the organizations promoting this initiative. The intention is to address all people


linked to sports directly and indirectly, with the objective of raising awareness


and preventing any unusual behaviour that affects the results of sports competitions. The organizers are also looking to invite sports betting users to play through the 16 platforms authorized by regulators Coljuegos, as this is a way not only to support gambing legality but also to commit to safe monitoring and control of the potential risks in the manipulation of sports and competitions. “The gaming industry, and in particular internet-operated gaming,


are allies of all sports and, as such, we are working together with sporting institutions on actions to train, raise awareness, generate information sharing and, in general, strengthen good practices to ensure and guarantee sports integrity. We are convinced that only by working together will we be able to protect the varying sports practised in the country from any threat. Bookmakers are committed to the programme because they would be the most affected through any unwarranted situation and that is why we have agreed to join this great awareness strategy,” said Fecoljuegos President Evert Montero Cardenas.


Also commenting, the president of Asojuegos, Juan Carlos


Restrepo, said: “We seek to make visible the commitment we have to sports integrity and to the preservation of an industry that contributes millions in resources to the health of all Colombians. The way to establish and emphasize our dedication towards working for transparency is through campaigns such as this one.”
