CASINO NEWS The Casino Awards launches!

Datateam Business Media, publisher of Casino International and organiser of the British Casino Awards, is delighted to reveal the next stage in the evolution of the popular awards scheme. Since its inception the British Casino

Awards has served as an annual platform for the recognition of excellence in casinos across the UK and Northern Ireland and in 2021, the awards scheme ‘with a difference’ will widen its scope to honour operators and manufacturers from across the continent.

This decision comes as a result of both

increasing industry enthusiasm and feedback, as noted by event director Paul Ryder: “The British Casino Awards launched to great praise and over the past three years, we’ve been delighted to see the level of industry participation grow significantly. “In order for us to continue to offer a

leading awards scheme that effectively raises the profile and visibility of the industry, it’s essential for us to continually adapt and develop to represent all corners of the market and naturally, the next step is to expand the area that it serves. We are delighted that from 2021 onwards, the awards will recognise and reward both British and European companies.

Save the date: Tuesday 2 February 2021 With the official launch of The Casino Awards on the horizon, professionals from across the industry are invited to clear their calendars for the apex of the scheme: the awards ceremony itself, taking place in the heart of London on Tuesday 2 February 2021. Entries for the 2021 edition will open on

Monday 1 June so for those that wish to be in the running to win a prestigious industry award, now is the time to start preparing their exceptional submissions. A full list of revised categories and criteria will be available on The Casino Awards website, which is set to launch on Monday 20 April. To ensure the future recipients of one of

these awards are held to the same high standards as their predecessors, The Casino Awards will continue with its already established decision-making process. The rigorous two-step system - whereby both a panel of independent industry experts and professionals operating in the market are invited to adjudicate - will ensure that all winners are chosen for both their technical and practical excellence, as well as their

outstanding reputation among their peers. This will produce a shortlist in each

category and ultimately one winner, to be revealed at the hotly-anticipated awards ceremony. As well as serving as a celebration of industry excellence, the event is an unmissable opportunity for anyone involved in the sector to network with a room packed with leading professionals from across the continent - a perfect opportunity for solidifying existing relationships and building all important new connections during an unforgettable evening.

Early show of support from industry leaders The decision to expand the British Casino Awards to include operators and manufacturers from across Europe has

already received strong backing from the industry, with leading companies including Interblock and Novomatic having already committed their support to The Casino Awards. Sponsoring The Casino Awards is a

unique opportunity for brands to align with the highest standards of excellence in the sector while projecting themselves to a highly targeted and engaged audience.
