Keller Kitchens wins Red Dot Award for biobased kitchen innovation
Keller Kitchens, part of DKG, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 for its innovative biobased kitchen range, enduura® elba. Recognised globally as one
of the industry's leading design competitions, the Red Dot Award highlights excellence in innovation, functionality, design quality and sustainability. The accolade provides independent recognition of DKG's long-term commitment to developing sustainable kitchen solutions. enduura® elba features biobased materials throughout key components, including fronts, cabinets and shelving. Manufactured using chipboard bonded with tannin- based resin derived from tree bark, the material delivers around 30% lower CO2 emissions compared to conventional chipboard. use of melamine resin produced largely with Dutch biogas, reducing associated CO2 emissions by approximately 40%. Already available at scale, the
range supports Keller's circular approach to kitchen manufacturing and is particularly suited to specification projects, including housing and residential developments. The collection expanded to 17 colours in July 2026, with 24 colours planned from January 2027.
