Frontline Aquakast: removing the barriers to the freestanding bath sale O
ne of the biggest shiftswe are seeing in baths is that retailers need
products that deliver on both look and practicality. That iswhere ranges such as Aquakast are becoming increasingly important. Consumers still want the impact of a
freestanding bath, but they are farmore conscious of how that product will work in a real bathroom. Size, weight, installation and price all play amuch bigger part in the decision than they perhaps did a few years ago.
Aquakast gives retailers a way to offer that
freestanding look in a format that is easier to specify across a wider range of projects. Itmeans the conversation does not have to stop simply because the roomis smaller, access is difficult or the customer is working to a tighter budget. Thatmatters commercially. Themore barriers
you can remove fromthe sale, the easier it is for a retailer to keep a customer within the category rather than losing themto a completely different solution.
We are also seeing customers become less
fixed on one particular style of bath. They still want something that feels special, but they are balancing that with comfort, usability and the overall footprint of the room. For the trade, the opportunity is inmaking
freestanding baths feelmore achievable, and Aquakast is a good example of how the category ismoving in that direction.
