pandemic and now the economic crisis, we’ve been retreating into a phase of “cocooning”, which has meant that our focus has been harking back to simpler times. Softer interiors and homely objects are reminders of memories past, so it’s natural to see rich wooden features and vintage finds creeping back into bathroom furniture. A twist on traditional styling can be seen with contemporary shaker style doors making a comeback.
In line with our craving for organic forms,
curves have come into their own lately as a nod to the natural world. As well as luxurious curvaceous bathtubs, curves are featuring in bathroom furniture and worktops and just like straight lines, smooth surfaces rarely occur in nature, so tactile textures are appearing in the form of co-ordinating shower trays and textured wall panels. Whilst chrome accents will always stand the
test of time and rose gold has certainly had something of a moment in recent years, now everything seems to be shifting to black. Taps, lighting, furniture handles, mirrors and accessories all stand out beautifully in black, offering a simple yet sophisticated finish to co-ordinate or contrast modern bathroom furniture styles. We are sure colour will continue to feature
high on the list for 2023 bathroom furniture, with anthracite and olive green accents mixed with pops of dusky pink, rich earthy hues and seaside shades of blue, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
Add a touch of luxury with Ambiance Bain Modular or Fitted Bathroom Furniture
W
e spend a lot of time in our bathrooms for all sorts of reasons,
so that means they can become a centre of chaos if we’re not careful. The time we spend in them should set us up for the day ahead and ground us come nightfall. That means they should be a retreat as well as a functional space. An untidy space is not a relaxing space, so it’s
important to get the basics right with your bathroom installation and find innovative ways to get organised.
Adding bathroom furniture is a great way to
hide unsightly plumbing whilst creating functional storage in the form of drawers and cupboards under your basin unit or utilise extra space behind your WC to help you manage the clutter so your surfaces are clean and tidy. Ambiance Bain offer a wide choice of
modular furniture to suit every size and style of bathroom and if you want a truly unique made to measure bathroom, then fitted furniture is for you. Beautifully moulded SMO™ basins and worktops with co-ordinating shower trays
and wall panels complete the seamless, hygienic finish. Colour is an important factor in setting the right
mood for your bathroom sanctuary, so with an array of beautiful colours to choose from, Ambiance Bain can help you create the bathroom of your dreams.
