INDUSTRY UPDATE
BiKBBI introduce AI integration to support installers and consumers
marking a significant leap forward in the industry in support of installers and consumers. The introduction of AI is set to revolutionise the training process for
L
installers by leveraging the latest technology. The AI will offer personalized learning experiences, adapting to the specific needs and skills of each installer. This will ensure that training is not only comprehensive but also tailored to the individual’s pace and style of learning. Training will initially focus on how tradespeople can improve their
service offering, reduce risk to their business and offer a compelling proposition - but if successful, it’s hoped that the technology could extend into products and services. Additionally, consumers will benefit from AI-driven advice that is both
accurate and insightful. The AI will analyse consumer queries and provide tailored recommendations, helping them make informed decisions about their kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom installations to include the introduction of AI videos which will summarise and compliment existing written support. For businesses joining BiKBBI, AI will offer unparalleled support of
advice and guidance. From streamlining the onboarding process to providing continuous assistance, AI will ensure that new members are integrated smoothly into the organisation. It will also provide ongoing support, helping businesses navigate challenges and seize opportunities in the competitive market. The integration of AI into our operations represents a significant
milestone for BiKBBI. We are committed to enhancing the skills of our members, providing unrivalled consumer advice, and supporting our member businesses in every way possible. AI technology will enable us to achieve these goals more effectively and efficiently, paving the way for a brighter future in the installation industry.

ast month we announced a ground-breaking initiative to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its operations,
Reginox UK has appointed a new Area Sales Manager for Central England and North Wales
supply and design business, which he has now handed over to his brother. Reginox, which manufactures and supplies sinks, taps, worktops and
H
accessories, has acquired an excellent reputation for the quality, depth and breadth of its range serving the KBB, housebuilding and specification sectors during its 25-year history in the UK. Gavin, who hails from Kidderminster, says he was first attracted to the
role because of Reginox’s reputation. “I’ve worked in the industry for 30 years and I knew Reginox from
previous experience – it’s such a well-established brand,” he says. “I’m working my way through appointments with all my accounts, just seeing how I can help them, and I’m finding people really welcome the brand and want to see me and engage.” Gavin joins the four-strong Reginox area sales team, which is led by UK
Sales Manager Rebekah Tomkinson. Reginox UK Commercial Director, Dave Mayer, says: “We’re delighted
to have Gavin on the team. His sales experience is multi-faceted, from working in national and regional sales roles to running his own kitchen design and supply company with all the insights that provides - he has an integral role to play in our drive for even more success.” Gavin began his career as a kitchen designer before moving into sales,
spending over five years as an area sales manager with Northern Ireland- based BA Components, which then led to his appointment to National Sales Manager. He then moved to ECF Limited as a Territory Sales Manager to spend
more time with his growing family, eventually joining his own family-run firm. Liverpool FC supporter Gavin and his wife are outdoor enthusiasts, often
taking off in their camper van for family adventures with their seven-year-old son and daughter, aged three. For further information contact Reginox or visit the website.
