he TTA Awards take place in just a few days time on 18 May. Individual places for the dinner cost £175 +VAT, while a table of 10 costs £1,575 +VAT. All enquiries to the TTA: Or call the Awards hotline on: 0300 365 8453.

There is so much going on this year – the Awards themselves of course, the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, along with great entertainment and superb networking opportunities. The evening, which this year has a 1920s theme, will be hosted once again by the ever-popular Emma Jesson.

During the day The Tile Association Tiling Show - sponsored by British Ceramic Tile - will be held for the first time and looks like being a great success. The Show opens at 10am and exhibitors now number some 30 companies, including all nine of this year’s Gold Awards sponsors - BAL, British Ceramic Tile, Instarmac, N&C Nicobond, Norcros Adhesives, Shackerley (Holdings) Group Ltd, Tilemaster, Trimline, Walls and Floors. All exhibitors will have a unique special offer available at the Show, so as a visitor you can be sure of some great bargains.

St John’s Hotel will also be hosting a day of CPD Presentations, another new event this year for the TTA Awards. The CPD presentations will cover a range of material that is both wide and highly relevant. The presenting companies are: ARDEX, BAL, Shackerley (Holdings) Group Ltd; Norcros Adhesives; Instarmac; Nicholls & Clarke Group; Trimline Group; Walls and Floors. This year the Awards have three Silver sponsors as well – CITB, Lithofin and Local Heroes.

A final attraction for what promises to be a packed day is a Golf Tournament taking place just up the road at the nearby Marriott Forest of Arden Golf & Country Club. This starts at 9am.
