SENSTECWelcomes New Managing Director for SENSTEC USA

W

e are incredibly pleased to announce that Mark Conacher has been appointed as the Managing Director of SENSTEC USA, our newly incorporated company in the United States.

We believe Mark’s background, expertise and experience are a tremendous fit for SENSTEC USA. Having taken his Scottish installation company from a sole trader business and turned it into one of the most recognisable installation brands in the UK, all while living in Vancouver, Canada. Mark has been recognised several times through various industry and national awards and understands what it takes to make a company stand out.

SENSTEC was founded with the mission of creating the safest and most reliable shower tray. Our research led us to the aerospace industry to develop the perfect anti-slip solution.

After creating 42 prototypes, we finally developed what we believe to be the best anti-slip shower tray available in the world. That’s a bold statement that we proudly stand over.

SENSTEC owner and inventor Christopher Hackett said, “I first met Mark in 2019 in London at the Houses of Parliament of all places. He stood out to me then, and I know he is the perfect person to drive this company forward.”

Mark Conacher, Managing Director of SENSTEC USA who is tasked with spearheading the company’s expansion into the American market said, “I am genuinely humbled and grateful for this golden opportunity and the trust shown. SENSTEC is a fantastic product. Young or old, you should feel safe in the shower; SENSTEC achieves this.”

he Kbsa has announced a new date and a new facilitator for the KBB Industry Conference 2024. Experienced broadcast journalist Emma Crosby will facilitate the conference which will take place on 9th October 2024, with a theme of Empowering & Enhancing Excellence. The event will return to the popular Belfry Hotel and Resort, West Midlands.

T

Kbsa chair Richard Hibbert says, “We anticipate that we will have another sell out year so advise retailers save the date and register their interest with the Kbsa to secure a place.”

The new facilitator Emma Crosby presented Channel 5’s flagship news programme for five years and is a familiar voice on LBC radio, Sky News and CNBC.

The Kbsa will once again be welcoming non Kbsa retailers to attend, Richard says, “We had such great feedback last year from non-members that attended. Not only did they benefit from the presentations but enjoyed the opportunity to experience the strength and support that comes from being a part of the Kbsa.”

The programme for the day will follow last year’s format with extended breaks to allow time for networking and for delegates to visit the business services exhibition and advice surgery. This includes trusted suppliers and covers topics such as finance, credit card processing, HR and legal, health and wellbeing.
