Congratulations to the Winners of TTA Awards 2024
T
he Tile Association (TTA) recently hosted TTA Awards 2024, the prestigious annual awards evening for the UK tiling industry. Championing quality craftsmanship and service excellence, this year’s theme – “Building on the Best” – is reflected by the excellence of the 2024 TTA Award winners and highly commended. The full record is available via the ‘Events’ page of TTA’s website, recognising achievement in areas not limited to tile fixers and contractors, commercial and domestic projects, e-commerce, environmental sustainability, retail, supply and services, and floor and wall tiles.
In addition, all sectors of the tiling industry gathered for The Tiling Show 2024, the “must attend” trade show for the UK tiling industry. The Show featured 50+ exhibitors, live demonstrations, exclusive offers and free giveaways. It proved once again to be a fantastic opportunity to discover the latest trends and leading tiles and ancillary products. This year, the addition of a new room dedicated to tile manufacturers made 2024 the biggest Show yet! The Tiling Show aims to continue this growing momentum and will return in 2025, with details to be announced in due course.

demonstrations to show how quartz is made, even down to how the individual veins are put in the quartz.
“We were glad to be able to spend time in the testing labs, too,” said WFF Director Jamie Dowdall of Mayflower. “It was very instructive to undertake strength test of different colours, materials and thicknesses. “We also got to see new material formulations, prior to launch and spend time with the marketing, and quality control teams. And there was even time for a few Microbrewery visits and a guided tour around Prague.”
