Vogue (UK) develop 30 years history with investment by Kartell UK

T

he UK’s largest British designer and manufacturer of premium radiators and towel warmers, Vogue (UK), look

ahead with renewed enthusiasm as new development opportunities are expected following investment by Kartell UK, one of the largest and fastest-growing suppliers of heating and bathroom products to the independent merchant and showroom sector in the UK. Kartell’s investment in Vogue (UK) will support further growth across

the UK and internationally, adding to the market presence Vogue already has in the US, as well as enable a more comprehensive range of products and services to be offered by both brands. Vogue (UK) will continue to operate autonomously, remaining a stand-

alone manufacturing and design business within the Kartell group under the guidance of the existing, highly experienced management team. This will all be supported by ongoing integration and leadership support from the founders of Vogue (UK), Raymond Tunks and Rob Kelley, respectively. Raymond Tunks, explains “Vogue is something I am very proud of,

offering a renowned history which has been developed by a highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce over the last 30 years. In this post-pandemic environment, I am confident the investment from Alex and Kartell will enable future growth and secure an exciting future for Vogue, all its staff and the Kartell Group.” Robert Kelley, adds “Vogue’s success can be attributed to the continual

endeavour to provide the best in class service and high quality products to our markets and customers. We wanted to find the ideal home for the business to complement and accelerate the work we have done as a team over the last 30 years and believe that Alex and the wider Kartell group are the right people to take Vogue forward.” Alex Norford, CEO of Kartell, says “When the opportunity to partner

with the team at Vogue arose we immediately identified the strategic fit this acquisition represents and we are delighted to announce the deal. Everyone at Kartell is excited about working with Ray, Rob and the team at Vogue to address the multiple market opportunities in the UK, Europe and International export markets. Our shared focus of best-in-class quality and service will bring added value to all of the group’s customers and stakeholders” explains Alex. Vogue (UK) is the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of quality

towel warmers, designer radiators and heating accessories, with market leading eco-credentials since 1990 and here’s to the next 30 years! Please contact us for further information on Vogue (UK).

36 BKU JANUARY 2022

022 will be a key year for the Unified Water Label as the government begins a consultation process for the

introduction of a mandatory water label. The mandatory label is a government initiative to help achieve clean and plentiful water, and reach net zero emissions by 2050, as part of the 25- Year Environment Plan. The UWLA began pre-consultation discussions with DEFRA and BEIS

last year, and is calling on the industry to put water efficiency at the top of their agenda in 2022, and support the Unified Water Label, or risk restrictive legislation from the government via a mandatory label. Yvonne Orgill, MD

at UWLA says, “The industry must come together and show its support for the Unified Water Label, demonstrating that the label we have is robust and will achieve the water efficiency aims required. “The Unified Water

Label is already established in the KBB market place, offering retailers and installers the opportunity to advise consumers on performance aspects, compatibility issues and helping consumers make the right choices for their water systems and lifestyle “With the support

of the industry we can continue to work collectively towards a common goal, and with government support we can make the Unified Water Label the mandatory solution that works for the industry and the consumer. If the Unified Water Label is not adopted by the government and they choose to develop an alternative label, this could come with minimum standards, which would bring significant challenges. “The UWLA is lobbying government to help them understand the

benefits of the Unified Water Label and we have a wealth of material for members and retailers that is easy to use and access for free, from the website. It includes a range of tools, flyers, posters, social media posts and videos, all reinforcing our message that water matters, and tips and advice on how to save water in the home. “We all have a role to play to save the planet however small, 2022 will

be crucial as we all work together to collectively make this change happen.” Those interested in finding out how they can become involved

by supporting the Unified Water Label can find out more by visiting the website.
