Make sure style is in store with bathroom storage
Storage is a bit of a funny thing, when you think about it. Its purpose is to keep things tidy, with everything in an orderly fashion to create an uncluttered, relaxing space in the bathroom. But the look of the storage solution itself matters from a visual aspect too. It’s not just about how much internal space a base unit or cabinet can provide, how many shelves it has or what the options are for keeping smaller items safe and easy to find. Although all these are important and undoubtedly form part of a purchasing decision what is likely to clinch the sale is the style of the furniture itself. It is crucial therefore that bathroom storage combines form with function, offering consumers the best of both worlds.

Added relaxation in the bathroom
Over the past 12 months, switching off at home has become difficult as houses have transitioned into a constant living and working space for families and individuals. As a result, people are now looking to create a bathroom with spa-like features to help establish a difference between their home and their workplace, as the line has started to blur. Therefore, introducing different features within the bathroom can help individuals to truly switch off, take time out and relax. Due to this changing consumer need from a bathroom, we have seen
the demand for our Aquair baths increase significantly. At Trojan, we developed Aquair - our range of spa and whirlpool baths - to allow individuals to relax, unwind and escape reality in the comfort of their home, which is needed now more than ever. The jets help to relax tight muscles and increase blood flow to all tissues, with different systems and upgrades available individuals can build the perfect whirlpool bath for their needs. Each bath offers the same outstanding quality expected from Trojan, but with the relaxing features of a luxury spa experience.

Charge what you are worth and consumers will invest in you
Designing a kitchen or bathroom takes time and a lot of skill. Sure, the technology a retailer uses can go a long way in helping, but that in itself if also an investment and there really should be no question over whether you should charge for it. Ultimately, retailers shouldn’t give their designs away for free, even as in incentive and certainly not in the hope that a consumer will return to progress with the plans rather than going elsewhere. Your design expertise should be part of the reason that consumers want to hire you to create their dream kitchen and bathroom and that starts a long time before any designs are drawn up. That’s because independent retailers should be selling their brand first and foremost so that the customer is invested in them and their team, timewasters are turned away and the design fee is pretty much taken as a given by all concerned.
