Fujifilm flourishes at Peak Performance Print events

Fujifilm has racked up 80 new customers from 15 countries after completing its Peak Performance Print events. Visitors invited to the company’s Print Experience Centre in Brussels were given a deep dive into its inkjet technology. The show ran over seven non-consecutive

days in November as it gave live, hands-on demonstrations, and practical experiences to attendees.

Grzegorz Szymanko, solution manager for Digital Press Solutions at Fujifilm Europe ran sessions on inkjet economics throughout the seven daily events.

He said: “I focused on demonstrating how to optimise ink usage on Fujifilm’s inkjet presses. “This is critical not only for controlling costs but also for streamlining production processes and improving sustainability by reducing energy consumption during drying. “Fujifilm’s inkjet presses feature intuitive tools that make it easy to ensure ink is used efficiently, with maximum ink application reserved for the ultra-high-quality jobs that demand it.”

Dayfold Group brings large format printing in house with HP Latex R2000

Dayfold Group has expanded its portfolio by bringing large format printing in-house. The company recently installed an HP Latex R2000 allowing it to offer the new services to its customers.

At the end of last year, managing director Del Simmons led a management buyout of the company, shortly after which Dayfold pushed ahead with a double equipment investment. The first purchase was an HP Indigo 7K, followed by the HP Latex R2000.

While the 7K added extra capacity and flexibility, the R2000 – which was installed in September this year – has allowed the company to bring profitable large format print work in-house. Lee Carpenter, client engagement director, said:

“We carried out an assessment of all large format printers currently available, weighing up their pros and cons. “We had two key requirements: excellent sustainability and the capability of producing a market-leading spot white. The HP Latex R2000 excels at both.”
