WHAT IS THE PRINT SHOW? The Print Show is a key meeting point for the UK print industry, allowing visitors to discover the latest technologies, explore new investment opportunities, and understand how innovation can help their businesses grow. Bringing together some of the biggest names in print manufacturing alongside specialist suppliers, emerging brands, and niche businesses, the event provides visitors with direct access to experts from across the entire print supply chain. Combined with a range of educational features, demonstrations, and networking opportunities, The Print Show has become an essential event for anyone working within the UK print sector.
HOW LONG HAS IT SERVED THE PRINTING INDUSTRY?
The Print Show launched in 2015 and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this September. While the event did not take place during the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, it returned in 2022 and has continued to grow year-on-year since then.
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO WORK ON THE PRINT SHOW? I was one of the founders of The Print Show. The idea came from looking at the strong relationships we had built. After nearly 15 years of working closely with businesses across the sector, we began exploring
whether there was demand for a UK-focused print exhibition. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and from there The Print Show was created.
WHAT CORNERS OF THE INDUSTRY DOES IT SERVE? The Print Show represents the full breadth of the UK printing industry, bringing together businesses from commercial print, wide-format, signage, packaging, labels, textile printing, finishing, and in-house print operations. It also supports manufacturers, suppliers, designers, distributors, marketing professionals, and print service providers by showcasing the latest machinery, software, materials, and technologies. The event also reflects the changing nature of the industry by highlighting new opportunities in areas such as direct to film (DTF), direct to garment (DTG), signage, and other emerging print applications. By connecting every part of the print supply chain, The Print Show provides a valuable platform for learning, networking, and business development.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND THE SHOW ON AVERAGE?
The Print Show continues to attract thousands of visitors from across the UK print industry each year, including business owners, print professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and decision-makers looking to discover new products and opportunities.
THIS YEAR IS SAID TO BE THE BIGGEST SHOW YET. HOW HAS THE PRINT SHOW GROWN ITS REPUTATION?
The Print Show has developed its reputation by consistently expanding its exhibitor base, attracting leading industry brands, and showcasing the latest developments in print technology. Since launching in 2015, the event has become one of the most important gatherings for the UK print sector, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals under one roof.
Its continued growth has been driven by its focus on providing genuine value to visitors and exhibitors through live demonstrations, expert content, networking opportunities, and access to the latest innovations. This year’s largest-ever edition reflects the confidence the industry has placed in the event and its importance as a platform for future growth.
WHAT HAS HELPED GROW THE SHOW? A major factor behind its growth has been its ability to respond to the changing needs of the industry. By continuing to attract a diverse mix of exhibitors, from global manufacturers to specialist suppliers and emerging businesses, the event has remained relevant to a wide audience.
