Three new recruits at CMYUK


Over the last few months, CMYUK has added a number of employees to its team. This includes the appointment of Julia Clarke to the role of service administration manager, Steve Evans as an application specialist and installation engineer, and Stewart Cobby as the supplier’s new senior digital sales executive. Speaking about Ms Clarke’s appointment, Neil Roberts who heads up the service department, said: “Julia’s appointment helps to further strengthen our delivery of excellent service and support as CMYUK continues to grow. Her energy, effi ciency, and capabilities will further enhance the team, and I’m sure she’ll hit the ground running.”


InkTec unveils new site in South Korea


InkTec has taken a major leap forward after opening a second production facility in Seosan, South Korea. The new site spans a total area of 60,000m sq and is reported to have a monthly production capacity of 4400,000m sq. The new facility is packed out with state-of-the


art features including: • A cleanroom facility for dust-free quality control. • Eco-friendly ventilation systems that minimise odour and emission.


• Low-temperature storage to preserve raw materials and products.


• RTO systems to maintain full production effi ciency.


• Smart, automated HMI systems and explosion- proof safety design.


• Certifi ed PSM processes ensuring a stable and secure work environment.


• Rigorous IQC and PQC systems upheld by trained professionals. The facility will also have South Korea’s largest monthly output of digital oil-based inks.


With this expansion InktTec looks to reassure future commitments and innovation helping bring better quality and control to customers.

Print Day on October 9 and during the day students are invited to visit a local printer. According to YPIP

experiencing a challenge in attracting young talent into the industry and has an ageing workforce. Printers, converters, OEMs and manufacturers of print industry supplies are encouraged to showcase the industry to young talent by hosting an open day.
